''SINULOG FESTIVAL''

               We Filipinos varied on our culture and traditions. Some of our beliefs and customs that reflect us. Culture from generation to generation.We cannot separate culture from tradition both  are intertwine. Along the way, how would we Filipinos valued our culture and traditions? What are the significance this beliefs among Filipinos? How important to us this annual celebration to Sr. Sto. Nino, the miraculous child? The ''SINULOG FESTIVAL'' is one of our outmost embrace cultures and traditions. This event is very important for us Cebuanos.We are well known celebrating the''SINULOG FESTIVAL'' with theme of ONE BEAT.ONE DANCE.ONE MISSION.

             Every  3rd Sunday by month of January, we celebrates the ''SINULOG FESTIVAL'',a dance offering to our Sr.Sto. Nino, the miraculous child. This will catter all the talent and skillful performer.It is our culture and tradition that we celebrate this event through dances. Most of the participants comes from out of Cebu. They spent time,effort, and money just to join the yearly tribute to Sr. Sto. Nino. But we have also d ifferent contigents that came from different parts of Cebu.People will be gathered and evokes with one celebration.We Cebuanos are courageous enough to sustain from the heavy rain last January 16 at the year present. Most of us are interesting to challenge ourselves in going to the Circle Site, Fuente to witness the different event and way of celebrating the ''SINULOG FESTIVAL''.Starting at the morning until evening people is non stop on going. They merely subdue the heavy rains.We can see poster, tarpuline along the streets. Many installed products,accessories, foods and drinks. We witness at glance the very energetic performer of the different regions of the Philippines. They dont mind the heavy rain, tired, hungry,thirsty and many more just to offer to the miraculous child.

            Late at night, we can witness different performance of Bands. Many of artist share, witness and become part of the celebration. Some of the artist ride in their Caravan and Floats. They share happiness to the people.We can really see from their faces the enjoyment and excitement to be part of the celebration.Last Fluvial Procession millions of people joined. Most of them endure the bad weather condition that takes 2 hours.But we can see from their faces they really don't mind the heavy rain instead they continue to walk for one goal.

           The Sr. Sto. Nino must be secured from any threat. Because of the worthless and priceless value of the clothes he wear.It is purely Gold that is put over the clothes of the miraculous child.That is why, the church is very strict in handling this.We all devotees of Sr.Sto.Nino believe that the child can give miracle.When we saw at glance the Sr.Sto.Nino we felt satisfaction, happiness, freedom, Peace from our hearts.Most of us has devotion to Sr.Sto.Nino.
